My end of term 1 reflection

This week we have to finish of the term with out term refection so my one right on this blogger.

Rosie the rain drops wild ride

 

Rosie the rain drops wild ride.

 One rainy day Rosie fell to the ground at the point where the river Thames starts. When Rosie gets to the ground she looks around and sees a pathway on land that follows the river, Rosie follows. She comes across some big sharp spiky rock, fast-moving water is making swimming through the river hard but Rosie makes her way down the river.

As Rosie makes her way down the river she gets her first taste of wildlife, she sees birds that are flying over whilst chirping at each other. Then some birds are on the rocks in front of Rosie and they look thirsty and the way the river was flowing it looks like she might be water for the birds. The water was moving really and it was hard to move through the water Rosie had a big brain idea which was to try to talk to the other raindrops if they would be willing to swap places in the water the other raindrops just said ‘’sure’’. So that's what they did. She just missed the thirsty birds, on the way Rosie gave them the stink eye.

As Rosie swims by she comes across a small town just outside of London, she gets her first glance of civilisation she saw cars, people there was even road rage she was flabbergasted she has never seen such an amusing sight she does her best to soak it all in. She knows she will be passing by very quickly so her excitement goes down.

 She keeps making her way down the river and discovers another side of town that is more populated than the other side. She sees people talking, walking, jogging and more cars, the exhaust that comes out makes her sick and in her mind, she is saying ‘disappointing’ she just wants to go to another town, she tries to go faster by pushing through the other raindrops out of the way. She wonders as she goes by what the other raindrops feel like.

A couple of hours later Rosie comes across a big building with signs on it that have different logos and brands. It was in a way majestical but then if you look around there is people polluting throwing cans and bottles into the river Thames she is sick to her stomach it’s very disappointing that some people have no respect for the water, even looking at the boats and the big yachts that people don’t realise that their rubbish is being blown away. On the bright side, you could see David Blaine performing the famous act he is being hoisted above the Thames in a small perspex box with only water and barely enough room to stand up and lie down. Rosie is astonished but was almost out of London she just let the water take her away. 

 Rosie makes her way to the ocean and sees a nice sandy beach ahead of her. When she gets there it is so polluted that it takes their nice look of the beach and makes it look ugly. Rosie is very disappointed so she thinks on how to fix it but what can Rosie do if she is just a raindrop? Just then people in trucks show up and they put on some scuba gear and they dove in the eater and started cleaning up, Rosie is so happy. She knows that she will float out to sea clean and happy.

This week we have been learning about the Americas's Cup, we had to  answer these questions and the we finished our task.

Week 3 Reflection

The highlight of my week was doing tech again. It was my highlight because I enjoy tech and im pretty sure the other students who do tech with me enjoy it too.

The thing I found most challenging this week was our stream task, we had to make 1 piece of paper very long with only the equipment we had which was just our hands.

Something I want to work on next week is during tech I completing all my work to the best of my abilities whilst enjoying what I am doing.

I showed Mercy this week by helping a little girl when she jumped and landed on her arm so I took care of her.

Next week I am looking forward to our school swimming comp.

Weekly Reflection The highlight of my week was probably doing swimming practice with my friends.

 Something I found challenging was the mercy values. I was in a 3 person group so we had to communicate and finish our work. 

 A success I had was Completing my letter to the teacher. In that activity we had to write a letter to the teacher and include things like how tall we are, our wingspan, who's in our family etc. 

 Something I learnt is that Excellence is where you help others do the right thing.

 Something I am looking forward to next week is hanging out with my friends and completing work with my friends.

I am Raidon Reich, the only child of a 3 person family. My Dad is Robert Reich and my Mum Rhoda Reich. I was born March 8th of 2009.

Currently I am 

155cm in height

147cm in wingspan

7.5 men in my shoe size

My hobbies are playing video games, playing sports with my Dad and travelling. My favourite country I have been to is probably Samoa because the people were so nice and I had the opportunity to fire dance, which is where you get a metal stick and dip it in gasoline then light it on fire then spin it around in different ways.

 My goal for 2021 is to complete all the work given to me and complete it to a high standard.

Weekly Reflection

 

Weekly Reflection 

 At the start of the week I felt like I was entering school excited and ready for what 2021 was going to be like. I am hoping to start a new year ready for school. Meeting my friends was really cool and amazing.

 The highlight of my week was probably the painting activities. We had to print out a photo of ourselves and trace them with a marker, after that we painted it.

 Something I found challenging settling back into school. It was a bit of a challenge because I was so used to starting the morning slow I had to start off quickly, get to school, talk to my friends then it was time to learn. 

 Something I am looking forward to is swimming zones and training. I love swimming. My teacher labeled me as I fish.

This week is our second to last week and we decided to make a google drawing of what our highlights were and low lights and something we learned.

Times Tables mayhem

 Today in class we had a times table game where we had 100 seconds to get as many questions right.

Its so annoying because the questions are easy its just hard to type press and enter then do the same thing again.

 This week I enjoyed doing the sewing task because it was really relaxing and we had music going at the same time.

 A success I had was finishing my sewing.

 Something I found challenging is to sew the rights parts into my work that was challenging.

 This week I learnt about all the different fashions my class like.

 Something I am looking forward to next week is going to rippa rugby and athletics zones

 I have shown Aroha by always getting my friends to have fun.

A letter to Paretene te Manu

 Dear Te Tai Tokerau Land Court,

 I am the nephew of Paretene Te Manu and I am writing to you today to tell you about the issue that has come across me and my family. This is not really fair. He is an old man. He can not really move so why force him to there is no reason. Also he will have to adapt to everything new like new diseases and infections. The land is spiritual. What are you going to turn it into a city? What's the point in that? Did you know that the land does not belong to you? it belongs to Paretene te Manu. So please let us keep our land, you do not really need it anyway. You have lots of places where you can build but you choose my uncles why. So please let us keep Little Barrier Island.

The past 3 weeks we have been reading a story about a person called Paretene te Manu who lives on a island called Little Barrier Island. The crown is trying to take it from him, But we acting as the newphew I have to write a letter to the Te Tai Tokerau Land Court telling them why not to claim the island.

So up there is my letter so I hope you like it.

This week my class and I learnt about different types of media which is what I am posting to my blog. I liked this activity because I got to express my self on all the different times of media that I know.

My weekly Reflection

 

This week I enjoyed doing athletics every day of the week. I love the fitness.

 A success I had was finishing my recount. It took me a little while to finish but I finished it.

 Something I found challenging was finishing my math knowledge check on time. It was a good challenge for me.

 This week I learnt about all the different kinds of art that existed.

 Something I am looking forward to next week is going back to athletics training at school. 

 I have shown Aroha by helping my friends lift their mood up by making them laugh by telling them jokes or other things.

The most fun packed time ever

 

This school holiday I had truck loads of fun but I only went to 2 places which was the shop my Dad owns and I also went to Auckland.

 I spent 12 days with my Dad at his shop. Those days I did nothing but play PS4. My schedule was get there at 7 in the morning then plug everything in then play till 8am then buy myself a pie, eat that and back to gaming. At 12:30 I have lunch and I finally get off at 1:30 and pack everything up then go home. I spent 7 hours in total on the PS4 every single day for 12 days.

 The last 2 days I spent in Auckland where I spent 6 hours on a bus to go there and to come back that was annoying, but when we got there I had to DM my cousin to tell him we got to SkyCity and he can go and see us. We went to one of the newest malls in the city there was so much gaming equipment. I felt so excited I wanted to buy it all or use it. I felt like I had too much sugar but really I was nowhere near as excited as I was the next day. The next day I woke up and I went shopping (what a surprise) . After that I tried to get into the gaming room inside of the sky tower itself turns out you need an invite. The real reason why I went to Auckland was to celebrate my cousin's 21st birthday that night I had so much fun with all the people there I was over whelmed. when I got back to SkyCity I was so tired. That next day my eyes felt like falling out and I got a serious headache because I came back to my hotel late that last night. But when I got home I took a long nap. 

That was my Recount of the school holidays.
